Dr. Dibya Ranjan Behera was born and brought up in Cuttack, Odisha. He has done his MBBS from SCB Medical college, Cuttack, and MD general Medicine from IMS, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. Then he did his DM Cardiology at the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum, Kerala which is an Institute of National Importance declared by the Govt. of India. The institute is known for best cardiological practice, and research, which enabled Dr. Dibya Ranjan Behera to present numerous research presentations in various national and international forums. After completing his DM cardiology, he joined as assistant professor in the department of Cardiology in another prestigious institute, Christian Medical College, Vellore. The quality of this institute made him highly skilled in many adult and pediatric cardiac interventions, and also peripheral vascular interventions. Then he has done his preceptorship in Interventional Cardiology from the Cleveland Clinic, USA, which is one of the best institutes in the world of its kind. He returned to his home state and joined AIIMS, Bhubaneswar as assistant professor and served for one and half years. He was instrumental in doing many complex cardiac interventions that benefitted many patients of Odisha as well as neighboring states. Then he joined as associate professor in IMS and SUM Hospital and as consultant cardiologist in SUM ULTIMATE, Bhubaneswar. Recently he joined as consultant interventional cardiologist at AMRI Hospitals, Bhubaneswar. He is young, dynamic and very much skilled in interventional cardiology. He also takes keen interest in social awareness initiatives like educating common people about various cardiac problems. He is one of the best and ethical adult and pediatric interventional cardiologists in Odisha. He vows to give best possible comprehensive cardiac care with trust, quality and commitment.
